Pardubice Palace won the prestigious Best of Realty competition

The award ceremony of the prestigious Best of Realty development competition took place at the Karlín Forum in Prague on Tuesday 14 November. The first place in the category of Shopping centers was awarded to the project of expansion of the business and social center Palác Pardubice. He received the award for merging his premises with the building after the former Prior, whose outdated architecture he thereby modernised. The award was accepted by representatives of the Redstone Group, headed by founder Richard Morávko. The developer has recently expanded its asset management portfolio by taking over the management of this project. It intends to ensure its day-to-day management as well as further future development.The contest “Best of Realty” is considered the most prestigious in the Czech Republic and is also referred to as the Czech “Real Estate Oscars”. The winners of the 25th edition of the competition were decided by an 11-member expert jury headed by Tomáš Drtina from Incomind, consisting of prominent personalities from the Association for the Development of the Real Estate Market (“ARTN”), professional associations, banks, urban planners, architects, market analysts and real estate brokers.“In the history of the Best of Realty competition, we have the honor of taking the prize for the umpteenth time. The external historical part has been preserved according to the requirements of the heritage office of the city of Pardubice, however, the inner part has been completely architecturally updated to meet all the requirements and wishes of customers of modern shopping centers and bring the complex into the 21st century. The building is connected at the level of the first above-ground floor to the existing 2008 shopping centre by common areas where sales stands are located. At the level of the second above-ground floor, the building is connected to the existing center by a connecting bridge. It will offer an area of approximately 6,350 m². The shopping center consists of four floors with a total area of 12,100 m². On the first underground floor there is a parking lot with 71 parking spaces and technological facilities of the building. Commercial premises were built on the first two above-ground floors. On the third floor there is an office space with a terrace.In the past, other projects associated with Richard Morávka's companies have won awards in the Best of Realty competition. Galerie Šantovka, which is one of the ten largest and most successful centers in the Czech Republic, won 2nd place in the category of Shopping Centers in 2014 in the Best of Realty competition.
