The management of the Redstone Development Group has signed a cooperation agreement with Marriott International. The common goal is to open two modern hotels in Pardubice and Olomouc under the brand AC Hotels by Marriott, which is not yet represented in the Czech Republic. They will be part of the newly prepared complexes of multifunctional business and social centers. When completed, they will be among the largest and most luxurious in their locations, opening up new possibilities for both cities.
AC Hotels by Marriott includes more than 225 hotels in 33 countries. At AC Hotels, every detail is designed and worked out so that guests have the ultimate experience. It is characterized by purposefully designed characteristic spaces that achieve a perfect balance between form and function.
“AC by Marriott impressed us with its style and orientation to the guest experience. This dynamically developing network offers quality services for a modern lifestyle. Pardubice and Olomouc will be the first Czech cities to join the map of metropolises with this prestigious hotel brand. This will support trade, congresses and tourism.”says Richard Morák, founder of the Redstone Group.
“We are very pleased with the planned debut of AC Hotels in the Czech Republic. I am convinced that the modern design and intuitive service of AC Hotels will suit both foreign and local travelers perfectly. The Czech Republic is an important market for Marriott and I am pleased to be able to work with such renowned partners as the Redstone Group.” said Janusz Mitulski, Senior Director Central & Eastern Europe, Marriott International.
The planned opening of the hotels is planned for 2027. The interior design of both projects is handled by the Twenty2Degrees studio under the direction of Nicholas Stouvas. The construction of the complexes will go hand in hand with the construction of the Pernerka Gallery and the expansion of the Šantovka Gallery.
In Pardubice, the developer plans a multifunctional complex combining office space and housing with a business and social center. The hotel will have 149 rooms on eight floors. It will include a restaurant, fitness and meeting rooms.
In Olomouc, the developer plans to connect the hotel with the construction of the second stage of the shopping center Galerie Šantovka, which is already one of the most successful in the Czech Republic. More than retail, the new section will focus on leisure activities, culture, entertainment and gastronomy, and a progressive theatre scene is also planned. The hotel facilities offer a total of 204 rooms spread over 11 floors. It will feature a rooftop restaurant, daily AC Lounge with bar, conference and function spaces connected to the convention center, fitness center and spa.
