The Šantovka Gallery, which was visited by 9 million people last year, is undergoing a major refit and modernization of the entire premises this year. In mid-September, the grand opening of the new food court took place, which, after modifications, has 250 seats more and twice the area (1500 m2). There is also a relaxation area and families with children will appreciate that there is also a children's corner right in the gastro zone.
Architects from international firm Chapman Taylor were inspired by nature, with the dominant wood complemented by rich greenery. BP STAVBY Morava s.r.o., OBERMEYER HELIKA a.s. and Atelier Partero also collaborated on the refit.
Visitors will also find an extensive menu in the food court, such as Costa Coffee, Spaghetti Parmegiano and UGO Salaterii.
The official opening of the new gastro zone in Šantovka was complemented by a full day program, which was accompanied by MasterChef winner Roman Staša and other final participants of the TV show such as Tereza Vyhlídalová and Nikola Němcová. Visitors could not only taste the dishes prepared by the chefs as part of the cooking show, but also participate in a series of competitions, such as creating their own baguette, which took place in collaboration with Boulevard Bageteria.
