Nová Velkomoravská

Revitalization of the extensive brownfield after former military repair shops aims to create a new urban district. The site has been completely cleared and extensive demolitions are completed. We have prepared a study of the use of the territory, dealing with its transport connections, internal subdivision, type of development (block) and possible functional use (arch. Luke Grasse). The aim is to create a high-quality urban concept organically connecting various aspects of the life of future residents. The predominant function will be housing, but the polyfunctional character of the project will complement the capacities for trade, business, tourism, public amenities, etc. Due to its location and scope, the site is also suitable for the location of infrastructure of citywide and regional importance. Therefore, we are intensively preparing the project of a multifunctional hall for sports and culture, the implementation of which we are negotiating with the statutory city of Olomouc. The new city district also has the ambition to involve the left bank of Moravia in the life of Olomouc, and should at the same time offer its residents and visitors plenty of green space and quality public space.
