(Olomouc, 22 January 2024) In Neředín, the Redstone Group launched the construction of a private sanatorium. The intention is to offer long-term nursing care intended primarily for patients in convalescence, after operations, injuries and severe illnesses. The health facility will offer approximately 120 beds in mid-2025, helping to significantly expand the capacity of this type of health care in Olomouc. The operator will be Senatorium Olomouc a.s. from the PHF Senatorium a.s. Group, which has many years of experience in providing this type of care and has a high-quality professional background.
A five-storey building will be built in a strategic location near the Olomouc University Hospital, which responds to the insufficient capacity of post-treatment beds for long-term patients in the Olomouc region. The facility will bear the name Senatorium, and as the name suggests, will specialize in a clientele especially of seniors. In addition to the possibility of above-standard nursing care, they can use the services of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, activation workers or nutritional therapist.
In addition to the continuous nursing service, patients will be allowed intensive visits from family members and friends, which is a great benefit during the recovery period. “Our main priority is the provision of quality health care, accompanied primarily by concern and respect for patients. The nearest sanatorium that patients can use is now located more than 40 km from Olomouc, which is another reason for the construction, which will be directed by the development group Redstone. The planned project will thus enable Olomouc residents to receive full-scale aftercare at their place of residence and close to their families.” says Aleš Kotásek from PHF Senatorium a.s.
The health and nursing services provided will be fully covered by the public health insurance. Additional services will then be paid by the patient for each individual day of stay. “We strive to offer patients care that is tailored to their individual requirements. The learned medical staff who will operate here will benefit from, among other things, the experience of the facilities already operated by us in Brno, Ostrava, Frýdek-Místek and Vestec near Prague“, added Kotásek.
